In October and November of 2008 I underwent a course of treatment carried out be Dr Olivier Grau to have a partial dental plate made. Dr Grau took painstaking measures to make the plate unobtrusive and cosmetically pleasing.

My experience was that of a short journey from a state of sheer terror into one of reasonable comfort.
It was with great trepidation that I came for my dental appointment. I am a ‘nervous’ dental patient and more especially as it was my first appointment with Dr Olivier Grau from having had Peter Alan for decades!
I have needed dental treatment several times during the past two years. My experience is that treatment is carried out quickly and efficiently. Explanations are given as to what is required and what is being done at each stage of treatment.
During my first routine visit for a check up, I asked Dr Grau if anything could be done about my irregular top front teeth. He suggested the appearance could be improved by cosmetic dentistry, crowning two teeth.
All I can say is that a visit to the dentists is not something to be eagerly awaited. However, having said that, a trip to see Charlotte at the surgery is certainly nothing to be dreaded. Beginning with reception, Pauline is very friendly and puts you at your ease early on. All of the staff I have had dealings with have been exceptionally kind and friendly.
I would like to Thank ‘the Highcliffe Dental Practice’ for the dedicated care taken with my denture implants, always on hand to ensure that the dentures were a perfect fit. Being able to call upon Dr Olivier Grau for his immediate attention, should any problems occur.

All choices of the treatment and their merits were explained very thoroughly and my comments and questions were dealt with, patience and understanding. The bridge work I eventually opted for was carried out expertly with appropriate medication. All necessary appointments were made to fit in with my schedule at that time.
My experience of ‘the Highcliffe Dental Practice’ was very good. The receptionists were friendly, warm, welcoming and efficient in booking appointments and giving receipt for payment. The waiting area, full of newspapers and magazines to enjoy were lovely, but there wasn’t much time to sit and read unless you were early. The tight scheduling of appointments was excellent.
I consulted Dr Charlotte Wells in March 2007 suffering with a painful upper molar, post holiday. My condition was met with sympathy and efficiency. I was seen quickly and a root canal, pain free treatment was carried out. When told over many years that I required extensive and expensive dental treatment, I kept putting it off. I have always felt nervous visiting the dentist and the idea of enduring two sessions, lasting four hours each, was frightening. Due to the erosion of the enamel on my lower front teeth, they all had to have veneers fitted.
After living a broad for ten years, my husband and I arrived to live in Highcliffe needing to find a dental practice. As my husband has Parkinson’s disease and uses a wheelchair at all times, it was essential that we find a dentist willing to cope with his situation.
I would like to say that I have received excellent treatment at ‘the Highcliffe Dental Practice’. I am a patient of Dr Charlotte Wells at the practice who has at all times, explained to me fully any necessary major or minor treatment as it has progressed and who is highly proficient, kind and considerate and caring including her staff.
I have used the services provided by Dr Charlotte Wells since the take over from the previous dentist who retired and am more than satisfied with the excellent attention I receive on my two yearly appointments.
My first impression was that it is a well run practice and so it has proved to be. The staff are courteous and always very helpful. My dental needs have been very well catered for by Dr Charlotte Wells who, in addition to her skill as a dentist, has the unique ability to put the patient completely at ease. There is no need for anyone to feel the slightest apprehension.

I know that looking after one’s teeth is a costly business, but I have always found the treatment, care and attention that I have received to be excellent.
